Signing into law the Major Richard Star Act which would allow those Service members who are medically retired with less than 20 Years of Active-Duty Service to be fully eligible for full VA Disability Pay.

Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act of 2022 expands health care coverage to millions of veterans. The law adds nearly 24 conditions to a list of ailments presumed by the VA to be connected to toxic exposure. See MOAA's Questions Answered. 

“Comprehensive Toxic Exposure” Reform” which would increase attention to other “toxic exposure” related health issues not associated with “Agent Orange.” This issue certainly is important although we also think Legislators also need to pressure the VA to be more receptive to and approve a more far-ranging list of “Agent Orange” claims than they are doing now.

Protect Full Military Honors and Burial at Arlington National Cemetery (ANC). Eligibility changes for interment and inurnment at ANC are imminent through the federal rule-making process. Identification of expanded Arlington property or new national cemetery resources that afford full military honors to accommodate all those currently eligible for Arlington National Cemetery.
